The Schielling is located maybe a kilometre from the North shore of Lake Ontario. In past years, it has been a three-season garden of vegetables, herbs, and companion flowers, and has been home to toads, ground bees, and other beneficial wildlife. Since starting graduate school, I've had to scale back my gardening hours. This will be mostly a spring and summer garden.
