14 raised beds, raised bed ground level, tilled plot, water garden, and strawberry patch located at a PK thru 8th grade private school on Willow Knolls in Peoria, Il. Our garden is in its 5th growing season and is a U of I extension Master Gardener site for education. Our garden is use as a cross-curricular educational resource for 3year olds through 8th grade students taking part in Language Arts, Social Studies, Math, Stem, Music, Physical Education, Spanish, Science and Environmental Education. Students lead inquiry based learning projects. All of our lessons include the history, climate, harvest, usage, nutrition, pests and/or diseases of the plant.
