Plan Notes

Woodland area- Climbers for north facing walls. Lonicera tellmanniana- ( honeysuckle) Pyracantha- good for bees and with berries, evergreen, Hydrangea anomala subs petiolaris- Climbing hydrangea. Perennials: Geranium phaeum white or dark pairs well with: Ferns, dog violets ( we dug up some of these earlier) Harts tongue fern, dead nettles, Royal fern, foxgloves, wood anemome. DT brown supplies wildlife for shade seeds or we may have some at MWT. Butterflies flock to flowers like bluebell, lavender, red campion, cornflower, primrose, bird's-foot-trefoil and clover. Grow your flowers in a bright, sunny spot that’s sheltered from the wind. Climbers for wildlife; For bees – Tufted vetch, Clematis, ivy, climbing nasturtiums, Ceonothus, open flowered climbing roses For birds – Travellers joy, ivy, rambling roses (with hips), small flowered Clematis, honeysuckle, Virginia creeper, ornamental grapes For butterflies – Ivy, broad leaved everlasting pea For moths – Honeysuckle, jasmine For small mammals – Honeysuckle, wild roses or cultivated varieties with hips For hoverflies – Wild roses, morning glory, climbing Hydrange
